I’M NOT SURE WHAT I JUST WATCHED BUT MAN WAS IT AWESOME
There was nothing.
Absolutely nothing, as far as the eye can see. Well, except for the lamp post/tree thing. But it gave off an eerie glow. Nothing warm.
Walking forward or backward does not leave any footprint or sound of footfall and the only landmark was the lantern tree. Whatever was on the ground looked like snow, but Coraline and Mabel didn’t get the feeling of warmth that comes with snow that compels you to have a snowball fight.
Just Emptiness and the feeling of Despair.
“Mabel, let’s go home. I don’t think we’ll find what we’re looking for here.”
“Yeah…Lilli was right. Whatever happened to Miss Pevensie must have been really bad for her mind to look like this”
For Steve, who asked Coraline and Mabel hanging out but this turned into a story. And a depressing one at that.
Girls, that’s terrible of you to sneak into your theoretical science instructor’s head.
PS. Am I one of the few people who thought that what happened to Susan Pevensie was absolutely unfair? Just because she grew up and stopped believing?
