And if I can’t post three pictures of it, YOU WIN!
With all 649 pokemon sorted and accounted for on my White 2 game card. I can officially put it and my Original Release date DS to rest till October.
Here’s hoping the generation transfer method isn’t entirely asinine and tedious this time. Slingshot minigame not withstanding I would like to move more than six pokemon at a time please.
After years of patient waiting, catching, planning and dealing with my own youthful idiocy I’ve finally come to the (temporary) finish line.
(I had been planning to enter into Gen 6 with a full pokedex and now this is a reality.)
However this has been no easy feat. With no allies in proximty (who play poke on at least), I relied on brave and stalwart comrades and total strangers across the vastness of the web to reach this goal.
… But there was a hiccup with the final three, Latios, Groudon, and Rayquaza. But thanks to a friend I at least had them registered so I could enter into the realm of madness known as the “Global Trade System”.
For those not in the know, the Global Trade System is intended to be a way to trade pokemon with other players anywhere in the world without knowing them personally or getting a friend code from them. Well intentioned it was however quickly filled with trolling. It’s possible, by the way the request system is designed, to request a pokemon that is impossible to provide without cheating tools. An exams of this is trying to get something as basic as a Pikachu greets you with a wall of trainers asking for a Legendary with a level under 9 that cannot be caught at that level.
So, the hope is to try and play around with your search parameters to find that one person out of ten who isn’t a dick hammer and meet their respectful request. OR you can offer something juicy and hope someone notices.
But that’s the thing.
Now I wanted to give some lucky individual a modest, specially bred with ‘Wish’, Eevee with great IVs and an active Pokerus strain. Two days later, not a single bite.
However.
When I offered up female combee, that I caught because whatever and didn’t bother to check their stats or make any adjustments I was done within a few hours of waiting.
Oh well.
- The panda is called Yanchamu ( ヤンチャム) and is the Naughty Pokémon. It is Fighting-type, 0.6m and 8.0kg. It has a new move called Parting Remark
- The bird is called Yayakoma (ヤヤコマ) and is the Japanese Robin Pokémon. It is Normal/Flying, 0.3m and 1.7kg
- The lizard appears to be an Electric type, possibly Normal as well, but the name is currently unviewable due to overexposure. It has a new move called BaraboraCharge
- The goat is called Gogoat (ゴーゴート literally Gohgohto) and is the Riding Pokémon. It’s Grass-type, 1.7m and 91.0kg. You can actually ride this Pokémon in the field. It can learn Horn Leech

so can you ride any pokemon or are there limits to that… Is it a new HM or does it supplant the need for them entirely. THIS IS MOST EXCITING!
Okay yeah now that I think about it there’s no way you could fesiably ride on some pokemon regardless of what Surf and Fly tell us.
