Before Capcom had him removed because they hate Mega Man
This film had Wily, Bowser, and Eggman all in the same room.Why is Zangief in there? He isn’t even a bad guy. :\
It should’ve been Mecha-Zangief, if anything. But they already had Bison, why would they need Zangief at all?
Someone in the cast could do a funny russian accent.
And knowing licensing departments, Disney probably only got the rights to one Zangeif and not the other.
It could also be a lack of creativity.
